Wida Hotel - Legian

Staff are extremely friendly, willing to meet every your demand with flexibility. It's not a big hotel with many rooms so that every customer staying their catch their attention. I feel home their. 10mins walk distance to beach. The pool is also nice, sometimes you can just enjoy swimming without any people around.

Construction site aside, during the day sometimes bit noisy. The closest beach is more for surfing with big waves. Big shopping center bit far though many small street shops around.

Wida is in a very good location - close to shopping. I was on my own and never felt unsafe. Room was basic and clean - with tv, aircon etc. I stayed on ground floor in a poolside room so had a daybed outside my door. It was a nice place to read. No tea/coffee facilities but happy to provide a kettle when asked. Breakfast basic but fine - I had bacon, eggs, toast & juice. I would stay here again. Not a large hotel which I prefer - driveway to park motorbike if you had one. This is a nice, friendly hotel, close to everything.

Bed was a little hard and the lighting wasn't great but I've moved to a very deluxe hotel and the lighting is the same - I think it's Bali ......

Situated in the centre of Legian, very near to the beach; the room is very clean and the staff is kind; breakfast included in the price and you can choose among 3 different menu (continental, american and indonesian); wi-fi in the restaurant and 1 free computer for the guest

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. Quiet at night considering it was in a busy street.

The hotel is a lovely old building if only it was properly maintained. It needs painting, the bathrooms need an upgrade and the restaurant needs a refurbishment. More attention to the garden and flowers on tables would make such a difference. Our room was dirty in the wardrobe area so I didn't unpack my suitcases.

Really liked the very friendly staff, always with a smile on their faces, ready to help out with anything. Nice, tranquil space within the hotel although located on a busy road.

The bathroom could have been better. It's needing a renovation since it's a bit old.

Staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms are well layed out and equiped, though some maintenance would not go astray in the bathrooms. Ideal location near Legion markets, 5 minutes walking distance to Legion beach, close to good restaurants.

Unfortunately the hotel has little or no street appeal - is almost impossible to find. The hotel itself is not attractive. Swimming pool, although good and clean is not a pleasant place to sit and relax. Breakfast selection is well cooked and presented but very limited. Construction work in progress next door and in the surrounding area makes for a noisy stay.

Being able to shop till you drop and just walk into serenity. Lovely adequate pool and friendly, helpful staff. Surrounded by any number of restaurants and a 5 - 10 min walk to the beach.

Construction next door but is nearly finished and at least the workers didn't start till a respectable hour.

We stayed 16 days at wida hotel. I can honestly say that hotel was worth every rupiah we gave them. Staff was friendly, helpful & reliable. Wida got excellent little restaurant that serves food till 11 pm, it is open to everyone but during our stay most people there were from hotel. Widas ceasar salad deserves to be mentioned here because of its pure awesomeness. Other food served there (including breakfast) was very good aswell! Poolside of the hotel is good if you want to relax & chat with friends or family, not burn in sun. One more positive thing was the free wifi in restaurant & poolside that helped us to stay in touch to our friends & family at home.

There was construction site next to the hotel whixh caused some noise during mornings & daytime, we cot used to it though. Also restaurant got 2 computers, only one of which was working during our stay. Other than that, nothing comes to my mind.

Quiet rooms and pool area but close to sea and business of Kuta. Good breakfast and room facilities.

Everything was great about this hotel. The room was fantastic with a massive bed, plenty of tv channels to pick from, the service was great although we didn't have to call on them at any time. I would absolutely stay here again. It was comfortable, clean and in a good location for what we were wanting... Something that's not in the busy Kuta area. Plenty of markets across the road and lots of good restaurants... MooMoo's was excellent. The included breakfasts were pretty good.

The only downside... I didn't use the beautiful pool only because I like to sit in the sun and then jump in the pool but the pool area hardly gets any sun. My husband used the pool as he just need to cool down but I couldn't soak up any rays. I thought the menu was a little pricey in comparison for what you can get in other hotels in the same area which I think was reflected in the lack of patronage in the restaurant in the evenings. But these were only small things and probably wouldn't stop me staying there.

I enjoyed the location, easy walking distance to beach, shops, cafe strip etc. I think they should possibly have quiet music playing in the restaurant and pool area. I was a bit dissappointed at being charge $25 Aus for a roll away bed per night when it's stated under 11 stay free if using existing bedding. I understand we were not using existing bedding but my goodness that's a lot for a mattress on the floor. Clean and friendly. I would use again.

We had a lovely stay at the Wida. The staff were fantastic .The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean. The only downfall was that the pool was out of order for 3 days out of the 7 that we were there . Apart fom that everything was good. Good Value.

The reception staff and kitchen staff were friendly and helpful and being a small hotel you got to know them quite well. My best experience came out of a disappointment as I left an article of clothing in the hotel room after checking out and only realised this at the airport. On return to Australia I contacted the Manager explaining what had happened and amazingly after a couple of days an email arrived advising me the clothing had been found and it will be mailed to me. The honesty of the staff is something you can't always take for granted and I must say I would recommend others to stay, for this fact alone.

The bathroom was very small and leaked water on the floor from the shower.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is close to the Beach, Legian and Kuta. Although not new it had cool decore and fairly modern rooms. Breakfasts were good.

Although it had Free WiFi it didn't get very good signal in the rooms and was fairly slow and sketchy. The street was busy and there was construction around so it wasn't too serene by the pool, or any time during the day really. The pool also only gets direct sun until about midday.

Rooms were clean to Bali standards - Linen changed daily - Breakfast was freshly cooked to our requests - friendly staff.

Not all staff understood english clearly - pool was out of action 5 days early in our stay due to lack of maintenance - pool furniture broken, but was replaced during our stay. Major refurbishment of pool deck pavers was noisy and also had pool out of action for further 5 days. No personal touches with flowers, coffee making facilities, dvd player, hair dryer, pool towels etc. Hotel WiFi not available for our entire stay....was able to intermittently able to pick up a Public Hotspot in certain areas of the hotel.
